Wildlife in Hot Springs Village?

Oh yes, we've had bear, deer, coyote, bobcat, armadillo, rabbit and more. Hunting is allowed within HSV -  and on October 10, a fox and a cat in the driveway! The two were standing there, looking at each other. (They moved too fast to go and get the camera!) 

We Hunt, BUT ONLY WITH A CAMERA!

We went after deer recently and bagged one ... then more ... the most recent are at the bottom of the page.

Three fawns were close by and out of sight - perhaps this is the mother.

These two very young deer were 'shot' on the back road from the Village to the "Jessieville Country Club" - home of great hamburgers (The Shack was featured in a past Southern Living Magazine article as one of the places to go for great hamburgers).  We saw them on August 3, 2000 at about 6:45 pm.  Where is this back road?  Hint - Cortez Golf Club.  

These deer were 'shot' on the morning of October 14, 2000, on Salvatierra Way. Either the photographer is getting better or the deer tamer.
